Privacy Policy — CentZen

This Privacy Policy describes how CentZen ("the App"), developed by SolveZen Technologies ("we", "us"), handles information.

Data on your device

Transactions, categories, budgets, savings goals and settings are stored only in an on-device database. We do not operate servers that receive this data, and we cannot access it.

Permissions

• Camera (optional): used to scan receipts. Text recognition runs on-device and images are not uploaded by us.
• Notification access (optional): if you enable it in Android settings, the App reads banking and payment notifications to suggest transactions, extracting only amounts and merchant names on-device. The App works fully without it.
• Biometrics (optional): used only to unlock the App; biometric data never leaves Android's secure system.
• Notifications: to show reminders and alerts you enable.
• Internet: used for ads and Google Play billing only.

Ads & purchases

The free plan displays ads from Google AdMob. Google may collect device identifiers such as the advertising ID and usage data to serve and measure ads, under Google's Privacy Policy. You can reset or opt out of ad personalization in Android settings. Pro removes ads. Purchases are processed by Google Play; we do not receive your payment details.

Your control

You can edit or delete any data inside the App, and uninstalling the App removes its local data. Android backup may copy app data to your Google account if you have device backup enabled.

Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date.
